Description
Case erector (corrugated box assembler) is an equipment installed at warehouse and production sites and used for fast formation of a corrugated cardboard box and sealing of its bottom flaps.
Automatic box assemblers do not require continuous participation of the operator and are easily integrated into industrial automatic lines along with stackers and sealers.
Operation principle
The vacuum gripper picks up one box blank from the blank store. As the blank rests against the guides, it unfolds forming the side walls. The pneumatic cylinder pushes the box into the side conveyors, folding and fixing the bottom flaps of the box with the help of special guides. At the output of the side conveyors, the bottom flaps are securely sealed with adhesive tape by an industrial dispenser.
